The field service mobile app supports Boomerang project managers, site champions, and third-party vendors in tracking, completing, and documenting progress during the onsite pre-installation phase, ensuring sites are fully prepared for equipment deployment, training, and program launch.
The app’s design and development were driven by user insights gathered from Boomerang’s executive team, field service engineers, and project managers. Working closely with team's software engineers, we mapped out real-world deployment scenarios and system frameworks, resulting in a well-defined user journey and a seamless experience for both internal teams and external partners.

Through multiple rounds of scenario evaluation and user testing with internal teams, partner hotels, workplaces, and third-party vendors, we refined the app around real-world deployment and site-preparation workflows. Each iteration revealed practical constraints and opportunities, guiding us toward a solution that supports how deployments actually happen on site. The final design balances immediate execution needs with a scalable, flexible framework that can adapt as the Boomerang program continues to evolve.
